Changes to Student Email and Microsoft 365 Services

Welcome back. You will have noticed a number of changes around your student email account and Microsoft services (e.g. Email, OneDrive for Business and Teams). These changes were made as a part of the ongoing strategic investment in the University of Limerick IT infrastructure and systems.

Your new student email and Microsoft Services account now resides in the same environment as UL staff. This change was completed over the summer and has many benefits including greater collaboration and information sharing between students and staff (e.g. via Teams, OneDrive for Business etc.) while also allowing for enhanced security features to protect user data to be rolled out at a later date. 

You can still access your legacy data - click here, enter your username and password, and click on the "Student move to new Office 365" tile for instructions on how to complete this task. From this link you will also find information on how to copy your OneDrive data, and link your applications to the new environment.
