Dr Sinéad Walsh is an associate researcher with Gender Arc. From 2012-2015 she was an Irish Research Council postgraduate scholar at Trinity College Dublin, leading to the completion of her PhD in 2016 on women’s activism and peacebuilding in Armenia and Azerbaijan. Her research interests include transnational feminism, academic activism, and ethnographic representations of the post-socialist space. Sinéad has taught undergraduate and postgraduate modules on gender, feminism and diaspora, and qualitative research methods in the sociology department at UL, and consulted independently for NGOs. She is currently working on a monograph that combines her fieldwork in the South Caucasus with her interest in knowledge production.
