Graduate Vacancy on Governing Authority 2018

Colin Clarke

I was elected Student Union President in 2015 and worked tirelessly for the betterment of UL students. I'm currently the National Director for the Irish Second-Level Students' Union and have a passion for the enhancement of the student voice.

Dave Clarke

Dave Clarke is a Data Scientist working in the Bio-pharma industry developing company strategies for big data analytic solutions and services. Dave has over 25 years’ experience in data science roles, project management and management consulting across multiple domains - manufacturing, retail, utilities, healthcare, banking and insurance.

Alan Dooley

Alan has lived in Annacotty for 25 yrs, works remotely with Pramerica as a manager and is very much invested in the local community.  Alan cycles, raising money for Munster branches of Down Syndrome Ireland, coaches under age soccer with Aisling Annacotty AFC, and sings with the Munster Rugby choir.

Seán Golden

Seán is a graduate of UL’s BBS in Economics & Finance and its MSc in Economic Analysis, graduating top of his MSc class. Seán works as an economist with a global consultancy, prior to which he was an economist in the Department of Public Expenditure & Reform’s Education Expenditure and Policy Unit.

Joseph Kearney

Joseph (or Joe as he is better known) graduated from UL in 2017 and is currently working as an Oireachtas employee. His aim, if elected to the Governing Authority will be to bring a new, young and fresh voice to the table.

Voting

Voting in the election will be by electronic means only. In order to vote graduates must be a member of UniversaL, UL's alumni online community.

Graduates may vote from 09h00 GMT, Tuesday 25 September 2018 to 15h00 GMT, Wednesday 26 September 2018. The Seánad Eireann Rules PR-STV electoral system will apply.

Results of the election will be posted on-line by 16h00 GMT, Wednesday 26 September 2018.

In order to ensure the widest possible distribution, please pass this notification to your fellow UL graduates.
