This role specifically targets young people from socio-economically disadvantage through pre-entry activities in schools and community groups, aimed at raising their aspirations towards entering university.

This role promotes the Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) through a variety of activities including school presentations and workshops for pupils and parents in our linked schools, act as first and main point of contact for information, advice and direction for all queries related to HEAR. The HEAR scheme is a collaborative entry route operated by 24 Higher Education Institutions.   The role consists of delivering a variety of academic enrichment, career exploration and higher education preparation opportunities such as our partnership with Johnson and Johnson’s ‘Bridge to Employment’  For all pre-entry access queries and queries relating to the HEAR scheme please contact  Sorcha at
